Thinking of doing a MCPD Web Application certification by the end of year 2007. I have already studied most of .Net Windows Application development contents in my Masters at Swinburne. Well there are 3 exams in total to achieve MCPD title. The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification is a prerequisite for MCPD, which can be achieved by finishing 2 exams.

Finally, I have got some time to make my post rather than reading others (all the time). I don’t know whether you already aware of this website or not, but it is awesome for ‘techno’ people.

There are plenty of navigation options available to search for latest updates on each kind of gadgets.

Add a Google plugin in your website…

Few weeks back I was helping out my friend in his webpage design task. Well this person is doing some research in medical field, and they have been asked to build their own introductory website along with final year project presentation. I mean why would they have been asked to build a website, where they do not know what is a FrontPage? Fortunately University is not that rude and they provided 1 week training (3 lectures in total) on how to build a webpage. If we see the situation from other side then, I would be asked to go through police training if I am building a website for police officers!!

Anyway, now this guy wanted to have some search engine in his website. First he wanted to have a search facility, which specifically searches through his website catalog and then because of time facture we came up with a second choice which is ‘Google’. Finally task became like this, “Provide a facility where user can type his request and once he hit search button, that text should be passed to ‘Google.com’ and open a new windows with related results in it”.

After goggling from some solutions, I came up with very short and sweet one. I don’t think this affect any licensing or copyrights issue with google.

This HTML behavior can’t allow me to post a code snip, it turns it into actual outcome of the code. What you can do is, view a source of this page and find for “action=http://www.google.com/customTWICE. This form tag contains actual logic.
