Wiki & Blog Code Syntax Highlighting
Clinton has done some awesome work to make use of the Geshi syntax highlighter. Now works in the blogs as well as in the wiki pages.
- Wiki (mediawiki) info see the CSH extension details and "usage" details on Swinbrain (which is also used here on the byteclub wiki),
- Blog (wordpress) info see the WordPress csh GeSHi Plugin page here for more details.
For ByteClub blogs, if you want to use the GeSHi syntax highlighter plugin you must activate the plugin (via your admin) first!!
Blogs are Back!
This is a call to all our byteclub members, potential members, past members, alumni and friends about blogs. Please let Clinton cwoodward@swin.edu.au know if:
- you had a blog before, and would like to to have a new one on byteclub
- you haven't had one, but you would like one (as a byteclub member)
- you had a blog before, but you've moved-on to bloggin elsewhere, AND would still like to be listed in the infamous most recent blogs list (with the top ten monkey awards for fame and glory of course) (we'll link to your feed).
A "use-it-or-lose-it" policy applies, but we'd like to hear from you if you are interested.
We also have a Blogging policy. This is not stricly enforced, but you should read it before you start blogging. If nothing else, it shoudl give you something to think about.
mod_rewrite is in action
If you find any problems with broken links please let me know jn@it.swin.edu.au
Welcome to the ByteClub Wiki
We are building a repositry for just about anything we have worked out how to do in code. We have a number of categories in which articles can/have been posted.
Registered users can post howtos or tutorials for anything they have figured out how to do.
- Worked out a neat cross browser compatability hack in javascript? Post it here!
- Worked out how to configure a mysql account? Post it here!
- Think you can help explain something? Post it here!
- Know something about AJAX? Post it here!
- Tried hacking a wireless router (like a Wrt54g)? Post about it here!
- Interested in how your code really works?
We even have some nice built-in code syntax highlighting for all your favourite programming languages... and some not so favourites! So it makes it even easier to rant on about a code snippet or two.
Only registered ByteClub members can edit these pages.
Navigation
- To assist navigation, an index has been created.
- Viewing the list of categories can help you find your way around.
- If your are really keen, there is a list of all known pages in this wiki.
